The structures of these metabolites were elucidated by spectroscopic data and comparisons with the data available in the literature. Among them, compound 7 ((6Z,9Z,12Z)-6,9,12-Eicosatriene) was isolated for the first time as a natural product. Furthermore, compounds 2 (D-(+)-raffinose), 3 (mixture of β-D-fructopyranose and β-D-fructofuranose) and 5 (bonaroside) were obtained from the Ranunculaceae family for the first time. Compounds 4 (siderin) and 6 (n-hexadecane) were isolated from A. vitifolia for the first time. The chemotaxonomic significance of the isolated compounds was discussed.

The limits of detection for topiramate, fructose, sulfate, sulfamate, and compound A were 2.97, 12.08, 4.02, 13.91, and 3.94 μg/mL, resp.

Abstract: This present paper describes the preparation and characterization of a series of O-substituted N-cycloalkylcarbamate derivatives These compounds were tested as inhibitors of acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and butyrylcholinesterase (BChE). All studied carbamates exhibited moderate inhibitory activity of both cholinesterases with values of IC50 in the range of 36.1-78.6 μM for AChE and 9.8-215.4 μM for BChE, resp. These values are comparable with those values of inhibition obtained with the established drug rivastigmine. The cytotoxicity of all carbamates was evaluated using standard in vitro test with Jurkat cells. Many of the studied carbamates can be considered as promising compounds for potential medicinal applications with regard to their inhibitory activity as well as negligible cytotoxicity.
