On February 3, 2021, Cao, Jian; Gao, Dejun; Li, Chun; Si, Xiaoqing; Jia, Jianshu; Qi, Junlei published an article.Product Details of 143-10-2 The title of the article was Bioinspired Metal-Intermetallic Laminated Composites for the Fabrication of Superhydrophobic Surfaces with Responsive Wettability. And the article contained the following:

Hundreds of copper and titanium foils were applied to prepare biomimetic metal-intermetallic laminated composites by diffusion bonding. The cross sections of the obtained diffusion bonded bulks were etched selectively with FeCl3 solution to get regular microarray structures. This kind of microstructure was controlled accurately and promptly by simple parameter adjustment. The etched surfaces were modified with 1-dodecanethiol, and the water contact angles (WCAs) were measured. The relationship between the microstructure and wettability of the achieved material was discussed, and the reason for the anisotropic wettability was also analyzed. Then etched surfaces were anodized in different electrolyte solutions to obtain different nanostructures. The morphol. and chem. compositions of the surfaces were analyzed. The surfaces with CuO nanostructures by modification show superhydrophobicity with self-cleaning, on which the WCA and water sliding angle are 160.9° and 0.8°, resp. The surfaces with TiO2 nanostructures without modification show UV light-responsive wettability. After modification with 11-mercaptoundecanoic acid and 1-decanethiol, the surfaces also exhibit pH-responsive wettability. The superhydrophobic surfaces with responsive wettability have potential applications in biotechnol. and microfluidics. The experimental process involved the reaction of 1-Decanethiol(cas: 143-10-2).Product Details of 143-10-2

The Article related to discovery analysis 3d gas chromatog flame ionization detection data, chemometrics, dynamic pressure gradient modulation, comprehensive three-dimensional gas chromatography, fisher ratio and other aspects.Application In Synthesis of 1-Decanethiol

On July 19, 2020, Trinklein, Timothy J.; Prebihalo, Sarah E.; Warren, Cable G.; Ochoa, Grant S.; Synovec, Robert E. published an article.Application In Synthesis of 1-Decanethiol The title of the article was Discovery-based analysis and quantification for comprehensive three-dimensional gas chromatography flame ionization detection data. And the article contained the following:

Basic principles are introduced for implementing discovery-based anal. with automated quantification of data obtained using comprehensive three-dimensional gas chromatog. with flame ionization detection (GC3-FID). The GC3-FID instrument employs dynamic pressure gradient modulation, providing full modulation (100% duty cycle) with a fast modulation period (PM) of 100 ms. Specifically, tile-based Fisher-ratio anal., previously developed for comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatog. with time-of-flight mass spectrometry (GCxGC-TOFMS), is adapted and applied for GC3-FID where the third chromatog. dimension (3D) is treated as the “spectral” dimension. To evaluate the instrumental platform and software implementation, ten “non-native” compounds were spiked into a ninety-component base mixture to create two classes with a concentration ratio of two for the spiked analyte compounds The Fisher ratio software identified 95 locations of potential interest (i.e., hits), with all ten spiked analytes discovered within the top fourteen hits. All 95 hits were quantified by a novel signal ratio (S-ratio) algorithm portion of the F-ratio software, which determines the time-dependent S-ratio of the 3D chromatograms from one class to another, thus providing relative quantification. The average S-ratio for spiked analytes was 1.94 ± 0.14 mean absolute error (close to the nominal concentration ratio of two), and 1.06 ± 0.16 mean absolute error for unspiked (i.e., matrix) components. The appearance of the S-ratio as a function of 3D retention time in the GC3 dataset, referred to as an S-ratiogram, provides indication of peak purity for each hit. The unique shape of the S-ratiogram for hit 1, α-pinene, suggested likely 3D overlap. Parallel factor anal. (PARAFAC) decomposition of the hit location confirmed that overlap was occurring and successfully decomposed α-pinene from a highly overlapped (3Rs = 0.1) matrix interferent. The experimental process involved the reaction of 1-Decanethiol(cas: 143-10-2).Application In Synthesis of 1-Decanethiol

On June 3, 2022, Bolduc, Trevor G.; Lee, Cayo; Chappell, William P.; Sammis, Glenn M. published an article.Synthetic Route of 143-10-2 The title of the article was Thionyl fluoride-mediated one-pot substitutions and reductions of carboxylic acids. And the article contained the following:

Thionyl fluoride (SOF2) is an underutilized reagent that is yet to be extensively studied for its synthetic applications. We previously reported that it is a powerful reagent for both the rapid syntheses of acyl fluorides and for one-pot peptide couplings, but the full scope of these nucleophilic acyl substitutions had not been explored. Herein, we report one-pot thionyl fluoride-mediated syntheses of peptides and amides (35 examples, 45-99% yields) that were not explored in our previous study. The scope of thionyl fluoride-mediated nucleophilic acyl substitutions was also expanded to encompass esters (24 examples, 64-99% yields) and thioesters (11 examples, 24-96% yields). In addition, we demonstrate that the scope of thionyl fluoride-mediated one-pot reactions can be extended beyond nucleophilic acyl substitutions to mild reductions of carboxylic acids using NaBH4 (13 examples, 33-80% yields). The experimental process involved the reaction of 1-Decanethiol(cas: 143-10-2).Synthetic Route of 143-10-2

The Article related to thioether containing lenalidomide preparation antitumor human sar, pomalidomide thioether containing preparation antitumor human sar, late-stage sulfuration, lenalidomide, mm.1s, multiple myeloma and other aspects.Name: 1-Decanethiol

On January 1, 2021, Wang, Yuhong; Mi, Tian; Li, Yiming; Kan, Weijuan; Xu, Gaoya; Li, Jingya; Zhou, Yubo; Li, Jia; Jiang, Xuefeng published an article.Name: 1-Decanethiol The title of the article was Design, synthesis and biological evaluation of thioether-containing lenalidomide and pomalidomide derivatives with anti-multiple myeloma activity. And the article contained the following:

In this work, the designed lenalidomides I [R = Et, Ph, 2-naphthyl, etc.; X = S, Se] and pomalidomides II [R1 = Et, pentyl, hexyl, 4-MeC6H4, 6-chloro-2-pyridyl; Y = S, Se] were synthesized and evaluated. The anti-proliferative activity against MM.1S cell line of compound I [R = 4-FC6H4, X = S] (IC50 = 79 nM) was similar to lenalidomide (IC50 = 81 nM). Compared to compound I [R = 4-F3CC6H4CH2], the half-live (T1/2) of compound I [R = 4-FC6H4, X = S] in human liver microsomes was promoted from 3 min to 416.7 min. The corresponding metabolic factor of compound I [R = 4-FC6H4, X = S] was increased from 2.8% to 79.5%, which was slightly lower than lenalidomide (91.5%). Moreover, the IKZF1 degradation of compounds I [R = 2-MeOC6H4, 4-FC6H4, X = S] was well related with corresponding IC50 values, which suggested the IKZF1 degradation efficiency was correlated to the responses of MM1.S cells. Furthermore, the oral administration of compounds I [R = 2-MeOC6H4, 4-FC6H4, X = S] at dosages of 60 mg/kg could delay tumor growth in female CB-17 SCID mice. This research helped to prompt the stability of thioether lenalidomide analogs, which paved the way for developing better mols. for treating multiple myeloma. More effective methods to detect bovine tuberculosis, caused by Mycobacterium bovis, in wildlife, is of paramount importance for preventing disease spread to other wild animals, livestock, and human beings. In this study, we analyzed the volatile organic compounds emitted by fecal samples collected from free-ranging wild boar captured in Donana National Park, Spain, with an electronic nose system based on organically-functionalized gold nanoparticles. The animals were separated by the age group for performing the anal. Adult (>24 mo) and sub-adult (12-24 mo) animals were anesthetized before sample collection, whereas the juvenile (<12 mo) animals were manually restrained while collecting the sample. Good accuracy was obtained for the adult and sub-adult classification models: 100% during the training phase and 88.9% during the testing phase for the adult animals, and 100% during both the training and testing phase for the sub-adult animals, resp. The results obtained could be important for the further development of a non-invasive and less expensive detection method of bovine tuberculosis in wildlife populations. Kurmaz, Svetlana V.; Fadeeva, Natalia V.; Ignat’ev, Vladislav M.; Kurmaz, Vladimir A.; Kurochkin, Sergei A.; Emel’yanova, Nina S. published an article in 2020, the title of the article was Structure and state of water in branched N-vinylpyrrolidone copolymers as carriers of a hydrophilic biologically active compound.Synthetic Route of 143-10-2 And the article contains the following content:

Hydrated copolymers of N-vinylpyrrolidone (VP) with triethylene glycol dimethacrylate as a promising platform for biol. active compounds (BAC) were investigated by different phys. chem. methods (dynamic light scattering, IR spectroscopy, thermal gravimetric anal., and differential scanning calorimetry) and the quantum chem. modeling of water coordination by the copolymers in a solution According to the quantum chem. simulation, one to two water mols. can coordinate on one O-atom of the lactam ring of VP units in the copolymer. Besides the usual terminal coordination, the water mol. can form bridges to bind two adjacent C=O groups of the lactam rings of VP units. In addition to the first hydration shell, the formation of a second one is also possible due to the chain addition of water mols., and its structure depends on a mutual orientation of C=O groups. We showed that N,N-dimethylbiguanidine hydrochloride (metformin) as a frontline drug for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus can be associated in aqueous solutions with free and hydrated C=O groups of the lactam rings of VP units in studied copolymers. Based on the characteristics of the H-bonds, we believe that the level of the copolymer hydration does not affect the behavior and biol. activity of this drug, but the binding of metformin with the amphiphilic copolymer will delight in the penetration of a hydrophilic drug across a cell membrane to increase its bioavailability. And the article contained the following:

Highly conductive and stretchable nanocomposites are promising material candidates for skin electronics. However, the resistance of stretchable metallic nanocomposites highly depends on external strains, often deteriorating the performance of fabricated electronic devices. Here, a material strategy for the highly conductive and stretchable nanocomposites comprising metal nanomaterials of various dimensions and a viscoelastic block-copolymer matrix is presented. The resistance of the nanocomposites can be well retained under skin deformations (<50% strain). It is demonstrated that silver nanomaterials can self-organize inside the viscoelastic media in response to external strain when their surface is conjugated with 1-decanethiol. Distinct self-organization behaviors associated with nanomaterial dimensions and strain conditions are found. Adopting the optimum composition of 0D/1D/2D silver nanomaterials can render the resistance of the nanocomposites insensitive to uniaxial or biaxial strains. As a result, the resistance can be maintained with a variance of < 1% during 1000 stretching cycles under uniaxial and biaxial strains of <50% while a high conductivity of ∼ 31 000 S cm-1 is achieved. And the article contained the following:

The ketene dithioacetal 3 generated from 2-nitroperchlorobutadiene 1 reacted with various heterocyclic amines and aliphatic, aromatic and heterocyclic thiols to produce functionalized new ketene-N,S,S-acetals and S,S,S-acetals 4a-f, 5a-h as heterocyclic dithiolanes. They were separated/purified by chromatog. methods and their exact structure characterization were made clear by spectroscopic methods. These compounds synthesized could act as effective drugs for versatile activity. Evaluation of the antimicrobial effect of the obtained substances determined derivatives 4e and 5h, which have MIC=15.6 μg/mL for the test culture of Mycobacterium luteum bacteria closing to the control drug Vancomycin. The obtained compounds can be proposed as a promising synthetic objects for future mol. design to enhance the antimicrobial action. Ketene dithioacetals 3, 4a, 4b, 4e, 5g (50 mg/kg) exhibited antiseizure effect comparable with reference drug (valproic acid) on the model of pentylenetetrazole-induced convulsions after single oral administration both at 3 h and 24 h. Furthermore, tested dithioacetals possessed prolonged antidepressant activity in forced swim test (FST) considerable decreasing the duration of immobility time compared to reference drug amitriptyline. And the article contained the following:

The usefulness of transition metal catalytic systems in C-S cross-coupling reactions is significantly reduced by air and moisture sensitivity, as well as harsh reaction conditions. Herein, the authors report four highly air- and moisture-stable well-defined mononuclear and bridged dinuclear α-diimine Ni(II) and Pd(II) complexes for C-S cross-coupling. Various ligand frameworks, including acenaphthene- and iminopyridine-based ligands, were employed, and the resulting steric properties of the catalysts were evaluated and correlated with reaction outcomes. Under aerobic conditions and low temperatures, both Ni and Pd systems exhibited broader substrate scope and functional group tolerance than previously reported catalysts. Over 40 compounds were synthesized from thiols containing alkyl, benzyl, and heteroaryl groups. Also, pharmaceutically active heteroaryl moieties are incorporated from thiol and halide sources. Notably, the bridged dinuclear five-coordinate Ni complex has outperformed the remaining three mono four- or six-coordinate complexes by giving almost quant. yields across a broad substrate scope. And the article contained the following:

A modular synthetic method, involving a hydrothiolation, silylation, and fluoroalkylation, for the construction of highly functionalized fluoroalkyl sulfides has been developed. The use of the aprotic polar solvent N,N-dimethylacetamide enables the additive-free chemoselective hydrothiolation of tetrafluoroethylene, trifluorochloroethylene, and hexafluoropropene with various thiols. Stepwise functionalization of the tetrafluoroethyl ethers and a chlorotrifluoroethyl ether by silylation with TMSCl and LDA followed by reactions with aryl iodides, a chloroalkene, or acyl chlorides in the presence of CuOt-Bu and 1,10-phenanthroline convert the hydrothiolated intermediates into the tetrafluoroethyl sulfides in high efficiency. The method avoids the use of the environmental pollutant Halon-2402 (1,2-dibromo-1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroethane), which was employed as a building block in a reported synthetic route. Tetrafluoroethylene is a potential carcinogen and should be used in a well-ventilated fume hood.
