The mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight. The organic layer was separated, washed with NaHC03 (200 mi x 3) and brine (200 ml), dried over anhydrous MgS04, concentrated and dried over vacuum to give the title compound. ‘H NMR (CDC13) : 5 5.20 (s, 2H); 4.44 (s, 4H); 1. 18 (s, 18H). 13c NMR (CDC13) : No. 153.3, 138.5, 117.3, 82.3, 66.9, 27.8.
