The mixture was poured into cold water (350 g) maintaining the temperature between -5 and 5 C. After pouring, the organic phase was taken, 80 mL of dichloromethane was added to the aqueous phase, the organic phase was combined, the combined organic phases were washed with water, adjusted to pH = 6-7 by adding 8% sodium hydroxide, washed with brine, organic phase Dry with magnesium sulfate. Dichloromethane was evaporated under reduced pressure to give 3-bromopropyl nitrate (yield compound of formula M) (53.5 g, 88.1%).
