Archana published the artcilePhysicochemical characterization and evaluation of disintegrating property of Lepidium sativum seed mucilage, Computed Properties of 64519-82-0, the main research area is Lepidium seed mucilage disintegration tablet metformin hydrochloride dissolution.
The present work was carried out to study the physicochem. characteristics and to explore the disintegration property of the mucilage extracted from the seeds of Lepidium sativum by formulating orally disintegrating tablets of Metformin HCl by the direct compression method. Mucilage extracted from the seeds was subjected to preformulation studies for its suitability as a disintegrating agent. The mucilage extracted was evaluated for various parameters as per Indian Pharmacopoeia 1996. Several formulations with different proportions of mucilage were prepared and evaluated for phys. parameters such as thickness, hardness, friability, weight variation, drug content, disintegration time and drug dissolution The study revealed that Lepidium sativum seed mucilage (Ls M) is a good pharmaceutical adjuvant and is effective as a disintegrant at low concentration as 2.5%.
Journal of Pharmacy Research published new progress about Compressibility. 64519-82-0 belongs to class alcohols-buliding-blocks, name is (3R,4R,5R)-6-(((2S,3R,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-Trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-yl)oxy)hexane-1,2,3,4,5-pentaol, and the molecular formula is C12H24O11, Computed Properties of 64519-82-0.
