Ray, D. K. published the artcileEfficacy of seven anthelmintics against Ancylostoma ceylanicum in the golden hamster, Mesocricetus auratus, Related Products of alcohols-buliding-blocks, the publication is Annals of Tropical Medicine & Parasitology (1978), 72(1), 55-8, database is CAplus and MEDLINE.
The infection of A. ceylanicum in hamsters was treated with 7 anthelmintics: bephenium hydroxynaphthoate [3818-50-6], tetramisole [5036-02-2], tetrachlorethylene [127-18-4], phenylene 1,4-diisothiocyanate [4044-65-9],thiabendazole [148-79-8],parbendazole [14255-87-9], and mebendazole [31431-39-7]. Mebendazole was most effective, whereas tetrachlorethylene and tetramisole were least effective.
Annals of Tropical Medicine & Parasitology published new progress about 3818-50-6. 3818-50-6 belongs to alcohols-buliding-blocks, auxiliary class Anti-infection,Antiparasitic, name is N-Benzyl-N,N-dimethyl-2-phenoxyethanaminium 3-hydroxy-2-naphthoate, and the molecular formula is C28H29NO4, Related Products of alcohols-buliding-blocks.
