A new class of single-component mol. crystal with color-tunable ultralong organic phosphorescence (UOP) was designed and synthesized through alkyl chain engineering. Forming a more rigid environment at 77 K, the color-tunable UOP from yellow-white to blue-green is achieved through dual-emission of crystal and amorphous states.
