Qiu, Junqiang; Zhang, Hua; Wang, Zhenyu published the artcile< Ultrasonic degradation of Polysaccharides from Auricularia auricula and the antioxidant activity of their degradation products>, Recommanded Product: (2S,3S,4R,5R)-2,3,4,5,6-Pentahydroxyhexanal, the main research area is Auricularia polysaccharide antioxidant ultrasonic degradation.
Auricularia auricula polysaccharide (AAP) were purified and degraded using ultrasonic wave with the degradation kinetics model fitted to 1/Mt – 1/M0 = k • t. Followed that the morphol., intrinsic viscosity, viscosity-average mol. weight, antioxidant activity of AAP and their degradation products were in vitro investigated. Results showed the intrinsic viscosity and viscosity-average mol. weight of AAP decreased significantly (p < 0.05) with increasing ultrasonic time and their microscopic sizes were reduced after degradation In addition, ultrasonic wave destroyed the helix structure and changed the monosaccharide proportion of AAP. SEM anal. displayed some morphol. difference existing in polysaccharides before and after degradation More importantly, the antioxidant activities in vitro of AAP after degradation were significantly increased (p < 0.05) and AAPUD12h displayed the strongest antioxidant activity. These results indicate that ultrasonic degradation may be a suitable way to improve the antioxidant activity of natural polysaccharides. LWT--Food Science and Technology published new progress about Auricularia auricula-judae. 3458-28-4 belongs to class alcohols-buliding-blocks, and the molecular formula is C6H12O6, Recommanded Product: (2S,3S,4R,5R)-2,3,4,5,6-Pentahydroxyhexanal.
