Hydroxyl- and chloroethyl derivatives of neomenthane- and isobornanethiol in yields of to 80% were synthesized. They served as the basis for the preparation of new bis-sulfides with diacetone-protected galacto- and fructopyranose fragments in yields up to 98%.
