step 1: A mixture of 3-aminocyclobutanol hydrochloride (1.91 g, 15.47 mmol), isobenzofuran-1,3-dione (2.52 g, 17.01 mmol) and DIPEA (6.0 g, 46.40 mmol) in PhMe (100 mL) was stirred at 110 C. for 18 h.
