The combined organic phases were washed with water and brine, dried over magnesium sulfate and the solvent was evaporated to give 0.894 g (67percent yield) of the title compound. 1H NMR (500 MHz, CDCl3) delta ppm 7.64 (d, 1 H) 7.53 – 7.58 (m, 2 H) 4.32 (t, 2 H) 3.94 (s, 3 H) 2.74 (dt, 2 H); GC MS (EI) m/z 326, 328 [M]+*.
