The crude material was dissolved in petroleum ether (750 mL) and cooled to -50 C. The resulting solid was filtered and washed with petroleum ether to give the title compound (750 g) as a white solid. (0250) *H NMR (400 MHz, DMSO-d6) delta: 6.08 (1H, s), 4.67 (1H, t), 3.29 (2H, s), 1.37 (9H, s), 1.13 (6H, s).
