Adding a certain compound to certain chemical reactions, such as: 2425-41-4, (2-Phenyl-1,3-dioxane-5,5-diyl)dimethanol, can increase the reaction rate and produce products with better performance than those obtained under traditional synthetic methods. To a solution of (5-hydroxymethyl-2-phenyl-[1,3]dioxan-5-yl)methanol (0.66 g) in DMF (10 mL) was added NaH (0.12 g). The mixture was stirred at RT for 1 hr. To the mixture was added 2-{3-[4-(4-cyclopropylbenzyloxy)-3-methoxyphenyl]azetidine-1-carbonyl}pyridin-4-ylmethyl methanesulfonate (0.7 g) prepared in Example 1 (7). The reaction mixture was stirred at RT for 1 hr. Water was added to the reaction mixture and the mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate. The organic layer was washed with water, and then dried over MgSO4. The solvent was removed under reduced pressure to give the crude title compound.
These compound has a wide range of applications. It is believed that with the continuous development of the source of the synthetic route,2425-41-4, its application will become more common.
